Galactic Geek Empire Trivia uses a registered player's email address and password to provide an account. Password authentication is handled by Supabase Auth; the site owner does not see player passwords. Usernames, faction choice, registration timestamps, official Daily 10 results, online duel scores, league divisions, moderation status and optional casual-game progress are stored in Supabase. Public rankings show usernames and score totals, not email addresses.

Why this information is used

To register accounts, verify sign-ins, save game scores, manage friend challenges, support fair-play moderation and operate leaderboards. The owner can see aggregate statistics, recent registrations and a player list, and can temporarily block accounts from official competition. The precise lawful basis and data retention periods must be confirmed by the site owner before launch.

Other storage

Casual-game progress and sound preferences are saved locally in the visitor's browser. Numeric casual progress can be synchronised between a player's devices after sign-in, but is not used in official standings. Supabase authentication stores a login session to keep users signed in. The site includes Google AdSense site-verification code. Advertising will not be enabled until Google approves the site, and appropriate consent and privacy information will be configured before ads are served. Google may receive browser information when its verification script loads.

Visibility and sharing

Players' chosen usernames and ranked scores may be visible publicly to other signed-in players. Supabase processes account and game data for website operation; Cloudflare delivers the website. The owner should review the suppliers' data-processing terms and international transfer information.
